Biography
I currently work as a Consultant in Public Health for NHS Airedale, Bradford and Leeds.
I joined the Yorkshire and Humber higher specialist public health training programme in 2006 and became an honorary lecturer at the University of Sheffield in 2009.
Previous work at ScHARR includes teaching on the MPH and MB ChB programmes. I contribute to the preparation programme for Yorkshire and Humber public health trainees to take the professional examination for membership of the Faculty of Public Health.
Research Interests
My research interests include Citizens Advice Bureaux in Primary Care; Smoking cessation; Corporate interests and health; Law and policy; Breastfeeding.
Teaching Interests
My teaching interests are in public health and in health care management and leadership.
