Biography
I joined the University of Sheffield in 2008 following completion of a PhD in Psychology. I currently work as a Lecturer in Public Health at the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR), where I contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and have involvement in a range of research projects.
Research Interests
My research interests are in palliative and end of life care, ageing and older people research, palliative care for non-cancer conditions including COPD and dementia and the impact of physical environment on end of life care. I have interests in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Teaching Interests
I contribute to undergraduate teaching across the public health component of the medical degree and to postgraduate teaching across a range of courses indlucing the MPH.
PhD Supervision
I am interested in supervising Research Students in the areas of palliative and end of life care and older peoole research.
