Professional Development and Support for the NHS

The Public Health Section provides training, CPD and support to NHS colleagues.

Specific roles include:

• Provision of expertise and support to South Yorkshire Primary Care Trusts through honorary contracts
• Support for Public Health trainees on both the Yorkshire & Humber and East Midlands training schemes including exam preparation and wider academic support
• Secondments for NHS staff who wish to be based in ScHARR, for a period from 3 months to a year, either to facilitate training and career development or for the duration of a research project
• Provision of CPD and training through MPH modules or tailored short courses
