Biography
I started my studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2011. My former academic education includes: Bachelor Degree in Arts (main focus pedagogy) at the University of Oslo in 2006, followed by a Master of Science Degree (main focus homeopathy) at the University of Central Lancashire in 2009. In the period from November 2009 to April 2011 I worked for the University of Tromso (Norway), carrying out a systematic review of patients' experiences with five CAM therapies and serving as the Scientific Coordinator for the CAM-Cancer Consoritum for one year.
For over 20 years I have been in private clinical homeopathy practice in Stavanger on the South-Western coast of Norway. I have worked as a teacher and supervisor at the Scandinavian Institute for Classical Homeopathy in Oslo since 1999 and have also given a number of seminars and conference presentations for practitioners nationally and internationally. Moreover, I have been Chairperson and board member of various professional organisations nationally and internationally since the late 1980s. I am currently a Trustee, coordinator and advisor for three different research organisations and networks.

Current Projects
My topic is clinical research in depression. I will be using a 'cmRCT' approach to evaluating the clinical effectiveness of treatments for depression. Patients will receive either 'treatment as usual' (TAU) or homeopathy as an adjunct to TAU. I will be assessing patients' experiences with treatment, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
