Biography

I completed a BSc in Biochemistry (University of Buea) and a MSc Biology with Bio-Molecular Sciences (University of Amsterdam), before deciding to pursue a career in Public Health. I gained my Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands before commencing my PhD research here in Sheffield in March 2007.

Current projects

• In the context of an expanding HIV epidemic in my native Cameroon, I am carrying out a research programme which aims to identify factors contributing to young people having unprotected sex.
