Mental Health
The Section has a commitment, like other sections in ScHARR, to improving health and social care through service innovation and evaluation. There are close links between section staff and the Northern Centre for Mental Health, a regional centre of the National Institute of Mental Health (England) overseeing the implementation of the National Service Framework for Mental Health. There are also close links with the Sheffield Consortium for Health and Social Care. Links with a substantial number of European Universities have been developed through joint research programmes.
