Biography

I joined the University of Sheffield in October 2009 and currently work as a researcher in both the Clinical Trials Research Unit and the Mental Health Group as part of the Centre for Psychological Services Research.

Following studies for my Psychology BSc, I have worked as a research assistant on a clinical trial of a therapeutic behavioural intervention for Tourette´s Syndrome and have experience working with individuals with learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

Research interests

Process and outcomes in psychological therapies and the application of research to policy and practice.

• The Randomised Evaluation of the Effectiveness and Acceptability of Computerised Therapy (REEACT) Trial.
• The Second Randomised Evaluation of the Effectiveness and Acceptability of Computerised Therapy (REEACT-2) Trial.
• Improving Quality and Effectiveness of Services Therapies and Self-management on longer term depression (IQuESTS)
