Biography

I joined ScHARR in September 2010 as a Research Associate in HEDS section. I undertake health technology assessments (HTA) for the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Prior to this, I have completed several systematic reviews in mental health for the Cochrane Collaboration.

Research interests:

• Systematic reviews of evidence for clinical effectiveness
• Development of methods for systematic reviewing and evidence synthesis

Current projects

• I am currently working on the following project:
  Echocardiography in management of stroke and transient ischaemic attack.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests are in systematic reviews and critical appraisal.
