RAE results

ScHARR returned 56 staff under the Health Services Research unit of assessment in the RAE 2008, reaching first place in the "research power" table. Of these, 23 staff were members of HEDS involved in health economics, decision analytic modelling, health informatics or systematic reviewing. 55% of ScHARR activities were assessed as either world leading or world class. This excellent rating of such a large number of researchers suggests that ScHARR houses the largest concentration of world leading and internationally excellent health services researchers in the UK.
