New staff in HEDS

We welcome Kate Ren and Hassan Baalbaki, who joined the section in July 2011; Jon Minton, who joined the section in August 2011; and Lois Perrozzi and Emma Everson-Hock, who joined the section in September 2011.

Awards and achievements

Aki Tsuchiya has been awarded a personal Chair, and Allan Wailoo has been promoted to Reader.

Matt Stevenson has been appointed to the NICE Technology Appraisal Committee.

Congratulations to John Stevens and Hassan Baalbaki, who have recently completed their PhDs.

Andrew Booth, Reader in Evidence Based Information Practice in HEDS, was Guest Editor for the 25th Anniversary Celebratory Issue of Health Information & Libraries Journal, now freely available online here.
