Student Life at ScHARR

As a School of Health and Related Research student you will be ideally placed to make the most of the University´s facilities, while taking advantage of all that the City of Sheffield has to offer.

The School is based on Regent Street, which is situated between the University's main campus and Sheffield City Centre. As a Sheffield student, you will have access to the facilities of the Students´ Union, the University's sport facilities and its libraries.

There is also a strong network in place to provide advice and support if required – the staff at Student Services and the Counselling Service are there to help you if or when needed.

As all our students are postgraduate we know many have responsibilities of looking after family members as well as studying, and many part-time students also have paid jobs to add to their busy schedules. The University's help pages for mature students may be of interest to you, including the childcare provision we have in the University

Within the School you will have the support of your Course Administrators and your Personal tutor as well as the teaching staff.
