Welcome to ScHARR-Lock's Guide to the Evidence - a World Wide Web Guide to printed sources of evidence, which identifies material less likely to appear in the the Cochrane Library or on MEDLINE. Priority is given to sources that are difficult to find through any other route.Types of material include reports, guidelines and bulletins, but not individual journal articles.
All material is UK in origin, and must demonstrate evidence of a literature search and explicit review or appraisal criteria. Identified materials are prioritised according to the following three categories:
The list of documents is arranged by Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) - where items are on two or more topics an entry will be found for each topic. To facilitate use of this list in conjunction with Michael Zack's valuable work the list has been divided into several sub-lists to facilitate downloading. To locate a specific MeSH term, select the correct sub-list below and then use your browser's find button and enter the term to search for.
