Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funding
The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) has awarded the University of Sheffield a number of studentships in specified subject areas and for specified schemes (Research Preparation Masters, Professional Preparation Masters and Doctoral). AHRC funded studentships are now available through the AHRC Block Grant Partnership (BGP).
Through the BGP, the University is now awarding studentships to prospective postgraduate students, on a competitive basis and subject to AHRC approval. EU nationals accepted to study on programmes and in subject areas for which BGP studentships have been allocated will be eligible for nomination to AHRC.
Please note that in order to be considered for an AHRC studentship, you must first apply to the University for admission to an appropriate programme of study.
