Our Research Centres are interdisciplinary with external collaboration and funding. Our centres display clear evidence of high quality research output; earning them international recognition and adding value to the University research base.

Institute status has been awarded to the most prestigious of our Centres or groups of Centres. These centres have clearly demonstrated their interdisciplinarity and substantially enhanced the University's research base and income.
