Global Politics and Law - MA (Doshisha Pathway)

About the course

2 years full time

This two-year degree leads to the award of an MA in Global Politics and Law from the University of Sheffield and an MA in Asia-Pacific Law and Politics from Doshisha University (Kyoto, Japan).

You'll begin your study in April at Doshisha University for six months, followed by 12 months in Sheffield and the final six months back in Doshisha. The course is taught in English. You'll focus on political and legal issues in a regional and global context and gain a thorough understanding of international law, international organisations and international politics.

Entry requirements

Minimum 2:1 honours degree or international equivalent in law or politics. If you have other qualifications, we'll consider your application on an individual basis.

English language requirements for overseas students

IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component).
