International History MA
You'll examine and research key themes and regions in the making of world history from the late nineteenth century until the present day. Sheffield is a leading centre for teaching and research in imperialism and nationalism, anti-colonial struggles, the impact of world war, and hegemony and globalisation, amongst many other topics.
Entry Requirements
A 2:1 honours degree or equivalent in history or other humanities or social science discipline from a UK or overseas university. You may be asked to supply examples of previous written work.
English language requirements for overseas students
IELTS 7.0 (with no less than 6.5 in each part), or TOEFL 600 with TWE 4.5 (paper based) or TOEFL 250 with TWE 4.5 (computer based), or TOEFL 100 (iBT), or equivalent.
