About the course1 year full time This MA will develop your skills in urban design, planning and the development of cities. You'll study the UK urban experience and also rapidly urbanising cities in Asia and Africa. The course draws on leading teaching and research at the University, combining the urban design expertise of the School of Architecture and the international planning and real estate expertise of the Department of Town and Regional Planning. Interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in working across professional boundaries are critical to dealing with the complex problems of urban areas. This MA provides the knowledge and skills for you to develop sensitive plans, policies and creative designs with an appreciation of the financial and practical issues associated with property development. Entry requirementsYou'll need a good honours degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate subject from an approved institution. English language requirements for overseas studentsIELTS 7 with minimum 6 in each component, or TOEFL score of at least 100 in the internet-based test.
