Institution of Mechanical Engineers Whitworth Senior Scholarship Awards
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is the fastest growing professional engineering institution in the UK. The Institution finds and nurtures new talent, helping engineers build their careers and take on the challenges that, when solved, will make a difference to all of us.
The Institution established the Whitworth Senior Scholarship Awards to offer an enhanced level of financial reward for postgraduate research. The awards are to assist engineers who are intending to do research and are planning to embark on postgraduate degree study for a PhD or EngD degree.
Award details
The Scholarship provides an annual maintenance stipend of £7,500.
Awards are tenable for three years full-time. If other periods are approved the total award will be sub-divided appropriately.
