Institution of Mechanical Engineers Postgraduate Masters Scholarship
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is the fastest growing professional engineering institution in the UK. The Institution finds and nurtures new talent, helping engineers build their careers and take on the challenges that, when solved, will make a difference to all of us.
For exceptional graduate students who wish to pursue further study in mechanical engineering, the Institution offers a number of postgraduate Masters scholarships in support of a programme of study leading to the award of a Masters degree such as an MSc, MRes or MPhil.
Award details
The Scholarship provides an annual maintenance stipend of £6,500 full-time and £3,250 part-time.
It is intended that study should be on a one-year full-time programme; however, if a suitable part-time two year programme is proposed, then the award may be divided equally in each year. For a part-time programme, renewal of the award after the first year is conditional on satisfactory progress being made.
