Emeritus Professor: Stephen George

Stephen George joined the Department in 1973 and was appointed Jean Monnet Professor in 1994, Professor in 1999 and Emeritus Professor in 2003. He read politics at Leicester and after completing research for his MPhil degree he worked as a Research Assistant in European Studies at Huddersfield. He was until recently Chair of the Executive Committee of the University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES).
