Research Degrees: Fees and Funding
Fees
Tuition fees are charged to cover registration, tuition, examination and membership of the Students' Union. They do not include accommodation, other living expenses or re-examination fees. The following levels of tuition fees have been set for the academic year 2011/12. These are likely to increase for future sessions:
- Home and EU students: full-time £3,732
- Overseas students: full-time £11,490
If you have any doubt about whether you should be classified as an overseas student or not please write to the The Admissions Service with full details of your own and your family's residential history.
Funding
There are various sources of funding available to research students. If you wish to be considered for any source of funding, you should apply as early as possible.
