Fees

Tuition fees are charged to cover registration, tuition, examination and membership of the Students' Union. They do not include accommodation, other living expenses or re-examination fees.

The following levels of tuition fees were set for the academic year 2011/2012 (for all MA programmes except MA in Research Methods in Politics/International Relations). These are likely to increase for future sessions:

• Home and EC students:
  Full-time £4,600
  Part-time £2,300
• Overseas students:
  Full-time £11,890

For the MA in Research Methods in Politics/International Relations, the tuition fees for the academic year 2011/2012 were:

• Home and EC students:
  Full-time £4,200
  Part-time £2,100
• Overseas students:
  Full-time £11,490

If you have any doubt about whether you should be classified as an overseas student or not please write to the Graduate Admissions Office with full details of your own and your family's residential history.
