This will give an outstanding social sciences Master’s graduate the opportunity to pursue research around the political representation of animals in general (UK-focused), or one of the specific animal policy areas of: agriculture, science, captivity (e.g. zoos, circuses) and wildlife.

    More than 30 talented school pupils with a passion for politics took part in Sheffield's first ever Model UN Conference where they participated in a simulated United Nations Security Council Committee meeting.

    Dr Ross Bellaby, Lecturer in Security Services at the University's Department of Politics, chaired the meeting.
