Weston Park, Sheffield
The Picnic in the Park was a great success!
The sun came out and University staff, their friends and families and members of the local community came along for an afternoon of relaxation, fun and entertainment.
We raised a total of £2,927.10 for our two chosen charities - The Children's Hospital Charity and Leukaemia Research - through the cake sale, raffle tickets and collections by volunteers.
A big thank you to everyone who donated!
At the end of the day, our Guest of Honour and original Calendar Girl, Mrs Angela Knowles, judged the best decorated cake competition and also presented prizes to the winners of the fantastic raffle prizes and the Tug-of-War.
