Entry requirements
Once we receive your application from UCAS, we aim to make a decision promptly. We will make an offer to all those applicants we judge are likely to successfully complete their chosen course.
The table below shows typical entry grades, although we consider each application carefully and may vary the conditions of our offer in individual cases where appropriate.
A Levels
We also welcome applications from students who are offering qualifications other than those mentioned in the table. If you need any advice about suitable qualifications, then please contact us.
Language
You will also need an acceptable qualification in written and spoken English. For A Level applicants this is normally GCSE English grade C or better. However there are many other suitable qualifications. Again please contact us if you need any advice.
Mature applicants and Foundation Year
For entry to the Foundation Year, a typical offer for applicants taking A Levels would be BBB including at least one science. For mature applicants, we can consider a variety of qualifications, including Access courses and Open University units. In particular we will be looking for some evidence that you have academic ability in a science subject.
Students with non standard entry qualifications may also consider the OpenPlus entry route.
If you need any advice about qualifications we would be pleased to help.
