Profile: Julien Murzi
BA, MA, PhD University of Rome "La Sapienza"
Biography
Julien did his BA and his MA at the University of Rome " La Sapienza", where he also earned a PhD in Philosophy, writing a thesis on Alonzo Church's and Federic's Fitch's Paradox of Knowability. He is currently completing a PhD at the University of Sheffield, under the supervision of Bob Hale and Dominic Gregory.
Research Interests
Julien's PHD thesis in Sheffield is on the topic of logical revision, and on the epistemology of logic more generally. He is also seriously interested in metaphysics - especially on the realism/anti-realism debate - and in the philosophy of language (he has been working for some time on the semantics of future contingents).
