Open Days
To find out more about Philosophy at Sheffield you are warmly invited to come to an open day. There are two kinds of open days: University open days, which take place in summer, and Departmental open days in spring.
A general University open day lets you see the Philosophy Department and the University before making your UCAS choices.
Anyone offered a place on one of our courses will also receive an invitation to a Departmental open day (though others are also welcome to come). This gives you a deeper level of contact with the Department and enables you to meet our staff and many of our current students.

The schedule of University Open Days is here.

Departmental Open Days so far scheduled for 2014 are on Friday 7 February, Wednesday 19 February, and Saturday 22 February. More will be scheduled soon.
If you have been offered a place on our courses but can't come to a Departmental open day, please let us know and we will try to make alternative arrangements for you to visit.
