ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS

    TO ALL SINGLE AND DUAL PHILOSOPHY STUDENTS

    Further to the email sent ot you on 27 April from Taught Programmes Office, I write to you regarding choosing Philosophy modules of 2009-10.

    We are holding pre-registration meetings on WEDNESDAY 6 MAY 2009 where you will be able to get a list of modules that are available in 2009-10. Following that, on Wednesday 13 May 2009, we are holding a registration sign-up event where ALL PHILOSOPHY SINGLE AND DUAL STUDENTS intending to sign-up for any Philosophy module are required to attend. All 2nd and 3rd year Philosophy module numbers are capped so we work on a strictly first-come-first-served basis.

    Due to the online registration system opening on 5 May (2 weeks BEFORE our sign-up event) any Philosophy module chosen online before your name has been entered onto our class lists on 13 May, will be DECLINED. Once you have signed up at our event on 13 May and we have entered your name to our class lists, you will then be able to choose the module online. You will be contacted by email if there is a problem with your registration after that point.

    We apologise for the confusion, but in order to keep enrolment on our most popular courses as fair as possible, it is crucial that we do handle online registration in this way. We will ensure that next year the dates of our events and the online system dates DO correspond.
