Planning and Governance Services (PGS) provides specialist expertise, guidance and support to Senior Managers including members of UEB, Faculty PVCs, Directors of Faculty Operations (DFOs), and Heads of academic departments regarding corporate and strategic planning. Faculties are allocated a named Planning Support Officer who has a dual role. The first role is to provide a first point of contact for all planning issues within the Faculty. The second is to deliver a range of core work undertaken in PGS including committee servicing, submitting statutory returns to funding bodies, provision of specialist expertise, guidance and support in the University's policy development.
