Oncology Grant Review

Remember to allow for sufficient time for the review process, a minimum of 3 weeks for project, PhD and equipment grants whilst programme multi-centre commercial grants and fellowships require longer, a minimum of 6 weeks.

Special consideration should be made for clinical trials and projects involving field lab coats and also consider whether ethical approval is required, as these applications require a minimum of 6 weeks for costing implications.

It is important to remember that any application with cost implications to Sheffield NHS Teaching Hospitals will require the input of NHS R&D who should then be contacted at the earliest point in the process (6 - 8 weeks prior to submission deadline).
