Early Arrivals
1. Very limited accommodation is available before 18 September 2010.
- If you cannot avoid arriving before your Residence Contract start date, you must contact the Accommodation Office on +44 (0)114 222 4488 or visit www.shef.ac.uk/accommodation for further details and availability.
- Please do this as soon as you can alternatively, you can arrange a hotel or guesthouse.
2. If you are staying in University accommodation prior to the start of your contract
- We will provide details of where to collect your keys when you book.
- Rent will be charged per additional day.
3. If you have not been allocated University accommodation or arranged your own accommodation in Sheffield:
Get in touch with the Accommodation Office on tel. +44 (0)114 222 4488 as soon as possible. Whilst there is no guarantee that there will be a room available in University accommodation, the team will do their best to arrange accommodation for you.

- Book temporary accommodation in a hotel or guesthouse.
- Contact or visit the Accommodation Office. They are based at The Edge, The Endcliffe Village, 34 Endcliffe Crescent, Sheffield, S10 3ED (map ref 10) between 9am and 5pm to discuss your accommodation requirements. Staff will check availability of University rooms and tell you if there are any vacancies. Please note that it will be extremely busy during Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September, if you can it will be better to visit from Monday 20 September when any vacancies will be known.

4. Local hotels and guesthouses
These do become full in September; please book in advance. In September 2009 students arriving over Intro Weekend could not find hotel/guest house beds as they were all booked in advance.
