Services for press and media

News services and RSS feeds

Our team issue regular news releases on ground-breaking research, major projects, partnership initiatives, student and staff successes and topical issues.

We organise photocalls and press briefings and can provide guest editorial about the University, including facts, figures and background information.

You can keep up-to-date with all the latest press and media coverage on the News and features page and by subscribing to our RSS feeds, which allow you to receive news on whatever subject you require, from engineering to the arts.

Media enquiries and interviews

The Media Team deal with all media enquiries across the University and aim to provide you with the information you need quickly and efficiently.

The University also offers the use of an ISDN line to to enable staff to give broadcast-quality interviews from within the University.

Find an Expert

The University has a bank of experts in a whole range of fields who are ready and willing to talk to the news media at short notice in relation to their area of research and expertise.

The Media Team can set up and arrange interviews with the experts, who are confident when talking about their subject in layman's terms. The directory does not include staff telephone numbers – all media are asked to make contact with staff via the Media Team.
