The Sean A Spence Memorial Prize
The Sean A Spence Memorial Prize was established in 2011. This is a University Prize and as such will be printed in The University Calendar, read out at the Graduation Ceremony and added to the student's record.
The winner of the prize for 2011 is Isabelle van Heeswijk. The prize will be presented at special lunchtime seminar in early 2012.
- Frequency of award: Annually
- Value of prize: £100
- Eligible Candidates: Undergraduate MBChB Students who are intercalating on the BMedSci in Medicine specifically taking the Psychiatry component
- Assessors: The nominated External Examiner in office within current Academic Year and Head of Academic Clinical Psychiatry
- Criteria for assessment: Student with the highest mark awarded in their BMedSci Viva and dissertation.
The successful student will have their name added to the Honours Board in the Lecture Hall within Academic Clinical Psychiatry.
