MA Psychology for Musicians/MA Music Psychology in Education
The course tutors, Nicola Dibben, Stephanie Pitts and Renee Timmers have published widely in the areas of psychology of music and music education, contributing to the music department´s status as a Centre for Research in Music Performance and Perception. Postgraduate teaching and research in music psychology is well established at Sheffield, with the department also offering a site-based MA in the Psychology of Music, and supporting a number of research students working on projects reflecting these interests. The distance learning programmes make the considerable research and teaching expertise that the department can offer available to those whose circumstances prevent them from studying full-time.
