As well as running language courses for the local business community, the MLT Centre also uses its resources and skills to offer translation services.
The majority of the translation work carried out this year has been undertaken for local organisations, Sheffield Business Link, local solicitors' firms and companies in the surrounding area of Sheffield.
The Self-Access Centre (SAC) is a reference based resource housing a wide selection of videos, audio tapes, books CD Roms and DVDs together with 27 PC's for computer aided language learning.
An extensive range of satellite channels are received in a number of languages and news broadcasts daily from various countries.
