Funding

The principal source of funding for graduate students is the Arts and Humanities Research Board [AHRB] of the British Academy, which offers one-year studentships for MA programmes.

The studentships give fees and maintenance grant to UK residents. In the case of other EU applications fees are covered but not maintenance. The MLTC and the University of Sheffiled will support applications from suitable candidates.

Application forms for AHRB studentships can be obtained from: www.ahrb.ac.uk/postgraduate/index.htm (in the Spring preceding entry to the course) by applicants to whom the MLTC has made or intends to make a conditional or unconditional offer of a place.
