Short Quiz
Questions in the quiz are mainly of the minimum standard of knowledge that we expect from students at the start of the course. If you find the quiz difficult then please improve your knowledge before you arrive to take the course, as much of this knowledge will be assumed.
Quiz Questions (PDF, 130k)
You should be able to answer almost all of these questions after a little thought (without looking at the answers first!). If you can't answer a question, see if you can find the answer through studying a standard molecular biology textbook. Please see the section below for preliminary reading for the course.
The answers to the quiz are available from a link that we have hidden somewhere else in the course web pages of the MSc in Molecular Medicine.
