- Advise and assist students regarding programme of study
- Administration for all PhD and MSc students
- Point of contact within the department and university for all Mechanical Engineering PGT and PGR matters
- Preparation and updating of student induction notes
- Provide inductions to new PhD students
- Maintaining physical and computerised student records
- Arranging MSc interim presentations and MSc vivas
- Authorisation of Add/Drop forms
- Authorisation of Change of Status forms
- Putting together end of year MSc questionnaires
- Arranging social events between staff and postgraduates
- Chair & Secretary of MSc Committee
Staff Related Activities
- Liaising with the Admissions Officer on student number updates
- Co-Chair of the MSc meetings and secretary to the meeting
- Uploading of the MSc final exam results and award recommendations, as well as re-sit results
