Postgraduate Degree Courses
All of our MSc courses are designed to prepare you for a career in industry by providing students with practical experience of research, including training in research methods and management. They are also ideal preparation for further research at PhD level.
Our masters degrees are one year, full-time courses which allow you to further your mechanical engineering studies through both taught modules and an individual research project.
We offer a number of MSc (Research) programmes, which include a substantial research project worth more than half of your overall credits. This gives you the opportunity to study in depth a challenging and relevant topic. You will also be able to choose from a wide selection of advanced-level taught modules, which will support your project topic.
