Degrees with Employment Experience
A Degree with Employment Experience gives you the opportunity
to further develop your knowledge and skills by undertaking a work
placement for one year as part of your degree programme. This is
an option available in most of our degree programmes, such as BSc
Mathematics and Financial Mathematics.
In a Degree with Employment Experience, you spend the
penultimate year of your degree in an employment placement. In
this placement you would work for a year full time with an external
organization, in a position relevant to your studies. You then return
to the final year of your course. When you graduate, the year in
employment becomes recognized in the official title of your degree.
Please note that you do not apply for a Degree with Employment
Experience when you make your degree application. It is an option
you can explore after you start your degree.
