Yang Liu was awarded his PhD from the University of Sheffield, 2009, conducted under the direction of Prof. West, with a thesis entitled "Synthesis and Characterisation of Ho-doped BaTiO₃". He is now a research assistant in the group of Prof.. West, working on BaTiO₃-related materials.
