1. How do I book a place on one of the Summer Schools?
The study places will be allocated on a first come, first-served basis via the Online Store. If your favoured period is full by the time you log in to make your payment then you will have to sign up for the other period. The Summer School administrator will notify students when the Online Store is available.
-
2. Who is eligible to attend the Summer Schools?
Students who pass their exams the first time are eligible to attend the Summer Schools.
-
3. Can I still attend the Summer School if I do not pass my exams the first time?
No. If you have to take resits, thereby preventing you from attending your chosen Summer School, then a full refund will be considered by the Management School.
-
4. How many Summer Schools can I book on?
As Summer School places are limited, students are required to book one place only. If more than one place is booked, the Management School have the right to cancel the place without issuing a refund.
-
5. Can I extend my visit to the country beyond the Summer School dates?
Unless the Summer School offer includes the option to stay on in the country beyond the study dates given, then you CAN NOT extend your trip. Your flights, insurance, visa and accommodation arranged by the Management School only covers you for the dates given of the Summer School.
If you were to extend your visit outside the study dates of the Summer School, you would have to pay for any extra costs and arrange for an extended visa, flights and insurance yourself.
The Management School is not responsible for you visiting the country outside the given dates of the Summer School.
-
6. What additional costs will I incur?
Most of our Summer Schools do not include meals in their programme but do provide facilities where you can have breakfast/lunch.
Some of our Summer Schools have additional costs such as social events, excursions or tourist extensions, which you can take as an option during your stay.
-
7. Will the Management School organise my visa for me?

This will include:
- Schengen visa application form
- Travel insurance documents
- Summer School invitation and acceptance letters
- UoS confirmation letter
- Accommodation and flight details
- Passport photographs, and copies of your passport and UK residence permits.

8. Will I be insured?
A Certification of Medical Insurance will be provided by The University of Sheffield for the duration of your chosen Summer School.
-
9. What is inluded in the fee?
The fee you pay will include:
- Travel Insurance
