Gareth Davis - 5th May 2011

Gareth Davis graduated with a degree in Geography and Economics from the University of Sheffield in 1972. He is currently Chairman of William Hill plc and Wolesley plc, and a non- executive director of DS Smith plc.

On the 5th May 2011 at the University of Sheffield Halifax Hall, Gareth gave an Expert Lecture on business leadership and management.


Clive Humby - 3rd May 2011

Co-founder of dunnhumby, Clive graduated in 1975 from the University of Sheffield with a BSc in Applied Maths. He is probably best known in Britain for his role in analysing data from the Tesco Club Card. On 3rd of May 2011 at The University of Sheffield ICOSS Building, Clive gave an expert lecture in marketing, including market analysis and segmentation.


Jane Pollard - 2nd November 2011

On 2nd November 2010, Joanne Pollard gave a welcomed Expert Lecture entitled 'The Business Case for Sustainability.' Joanne is the Chief Executive of CO2 Sense Yorkshire Ltd, which aims to help business and organisations across the region reduce waste and emissions and drive growth. The lecture discussed the issues associated with business sustainability and the continuing work between C02 Sense and the University of Sheffield Management School.
