Jenny Cotton

Principal of Mortons Marketing

An independent supplier of marketing services to a wide range of organisations, commercial, professional practices, not for profit and some public sectors, such as arts and education. In 1994 she founded and is Principal of Mortons Marketing, an independent supplier of market audit and other marketing services.

Marketing experience, both nationally and internationally, has grown from being an in house market researcher to marketing director in four then FTSE 100 plcs, Unilever, Bass, Northern Foods and Rexam packaging. She has experience of line management, staff in house development and market audit for M & A. Mortons Marketing has supported MBO, franchisee development, operating subsiduaries of global plc as well as new start ups.

She has management development experience as author and lecturer in marketing within leading Universities´ Management Schools for MBA, EMBA and also for in Company and Institutes´ modules and seminars- CMI, CIM, CIMA, ICAEW, EWI. Jenny Cotton is an alumni, commercial mentor, past lecturer and current visiting lecturer of The University of Sheffield Management School.

An EWI member, she has led CPD workshops and writes papers on Expert Witness issues. She has been an Expert Witness since 1997, applying market audit rigor to civil and criminal cases, has given evidence in the Crown, Appeal and High Courts and written reports for the Licensing and Gaming Magistrates, for VAT Tribunal and the Insurance Ombudsman.
