Funding opportunities for Linguistics postgraduate research at the University of Sheffield
Applicants to Master's and doctoral degree programmes in Linguistics at the University of Sheffield are invited to apply for university studentships and for AHRC funding. Linguistics is represented by research scholars across the Faculty of Arts and Humanities: in the School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics, in the School of Modern Languages and Linguistics, and in Philosophy. Linguists working in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities conduct research that embraces both synchronic and diachronic approaches to the study of language, involving both formal and functional frameworks.
