Introductions to the Library
The Library offers a range of tuition materials to help students become familiar with library services, and learn how to use its resources most effectively. The QuickStart to the Library provides an overview of the resources and services offered by the Library.

Other materials may also be available to help students orient themselves, for example some branches have detailed floor plans available.
The Learning and Research Services Team can offer, by arrangement with Departments, more in-depth library introductions, which can include tours, lecture style presentations, or workshops. These would normally take place soon after the start of the course.

Information skills resource
The Library is currently developing a range of online information literacy learning materials within MOLE which can be used within teaching sessions or as self-help resources. These tutorials can either be integrated into your own MOLE course, or you can have your students registered onto the generic Information skills resource, where they can access the materials.
