Main databases
Chemical Database Service (CDS) Chemical database service (CDS) provides online access to a variety of databases in the field of chemistry, including: crystallography, spectroscopy, synthetic organic chemistry and physical chemistry.
ChemSpider Online database of chemical structures and property predictions. Also provides access to a series of property prediction algorithms. This is a beta version of the database.
SciFinder web Electronic version of Chemical abstracts, the main index to the world's journal and patent literature in chemistry.
Web of Science Includes Science citation index which indexes major chemistry journals. Available via Web of Knowledge.

BIOSIS Previews Main biological sciences database, includes biochemistry and environmental chemistry. Abstracts and indexes information from over 5,500 sources all around the world, including journal articles, meeting and conference reports, books and patents.
Scopus Comprehensive database, including mathematics, engineering and the sciences.
Energy Citations Database Includes citations to report literature, conference papers, journal articles, books, dissertations and patents.
Journal Citation Reports Identify the highest impact journals in your area.
Dissertation Abstracts References to North American theses.
Index to Theses U.K. higher degrees.
Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations A collection of electronic theses and dissertations from Universities around the world.
