Services for students with care responsibilities
What does the Library offer?
The Library offers you, by means of its web pages, direction to the most appropriate and useful information about its services and resources. The latter can be accessed from home 24 hours per day.
However, we also try to make it as easy as possible for you to visit the Library or Information Commons if you have small children. Children under the age of 16 are allowed into the buildings provided they are accompanied and supervised at all times by their parent or responsible adult.
The following conditions apply to the Information Commons (IC), specifically:
- Full access during the following hours:
Monday - Friday: 0900 - 1900
Saturday - Sunday: 0900 - 1800 - Limited access (ground floor only) at all other times
The quietest times are before 1100 on Mondays - Fridays and before 1300 on Saturdays and Sundays, so parents with young children, particularly with pushchairs, may find it easier to access the IC at these times.
Full information about the child access policy is available from the Quick links.
