What happens to fines income?
The University Library has a fines policy for overdue materials to encourage the timely return of its stock and to maintain availability for the benefit of all users of the Library. Fines income is treated as general Library income and is reinvested each year into our non-staffing budget helping to support the purchase of books, journals and electronic resources.
The amounts received in recent years are as follows:
