A Guide to Theses Requesting

If you require a UK thesis please apply directly via EThOS (British Library Electronic Thesis Online Service)

This service is managed by the British Library and allows the searching and ordering of UK thesis.

Although still in the beta testing stage, many theses are available for immediate download. Theses not already digitised may be ordered; this service may take up to 30 days and may incur a charge.

It may still be possible to order a hardcopy of a thesis direct from the home university if unavailable via EThOS.

Thesis from outside the UK can be requested using the usual InterLibrary Requests procedure and will usually incur a charge.
